Basic Valuation Coverage:

Lite Van Lines provides the automatic basic valuation coverage of $0.60 per pound per damaged article. Loss or damage will be paid by the item's weight. The basic valuation coverage is included in the price of your move. This is not replacement coverage.

Need additional Insurance?

When you are moving items that are valuable or that have sentimental value, we recommend getting additional insurance from the companies below.

• movinginsurance.com needs to be notified 4 business days prior to your move. They provide limited insurance. To get a policy with them, they require that a professional mover pack the items that you insure.


• The TGI Insurance Company requires a 2 week notice prior to your move date. This insurance is for full belonging, meaning that you need to insure all the items that are going to be loaded in the truck. They also require a full packing service since they want to make sure a professional mover packs everything.
